"I went to see Doug today to see if he could make a new chipped key for my truck. He was able to make the key in just a few minutes (after I got my key pin code). Doug did a great job cutting the key and programming it. He is very professional and courteous. The cost was a FRACTION of what the local car dealership wanted. Let me say that again….a FRACTION of the cost! I was very satisfied with the service and cost. I will definitely be using him for any future key/lock needs. Thanks, Doug!"

"Does a 97 Dodge Ram have a Transponder key or computer chipped key??"

Reply from 1 Able Locksmith:Hi Vince! Great question. The 1997 Dodge Ram uses a standard key — no transponder chip. You can have a copy cut at most hardware stores or call us and we can cut one for you on the spot. Hope that helps! — Doug
